Corrections Policy
Corrections Policy
Last updated: August 29, 2026
Accuracy matters at TechCorner HQ.
Technology changes frequently, and technical information can become incorrect because of software updates, interface changes, new documentation, configuration differences, or editorial errors.
This policy explains how we handle corrections.
What We Correct
We may update content when we identify:
Incorrect technical instructions
Factual errors
Outdated procedures
Incorrect product or feature information
Broken or obsolete links
Misleading wording
Important missing context
Formatting errors that change meaning
Material inaccuracies in screenshots, tables, or examples
Minor Changes
Minor changes may include spelling, grammar, formatting, broken links, or wording improvements that do not materially change the meaning of an article.
These changes may be made without a formal correction notice.
Material Corrections
When an error could materially affect a reader's understanding or actions, we aim to correct the article as soon as reasonably practical after verifying the issue.
Depending on the significance of the correction, we may also clarify or update surrounding sections to ensure that the article remains accurate and understandable.
Content Updates
Not every update is a correction.
Technology evolves, so an article may have been accurate when published but later require revision because a product, interface, policy, or recommended procedure changed.
In such cases, we may update the content to reflect the current situation.
Reporting an Error
If you believe an article contains an error, please contact us.
Include as much of the following information as possible:
Article URL
Relevant section or statement
Description of the suspected error
Correct information, if known
Software or product version, if relevant
Supporting official documentation or another reliable source, if available
Correction email: correction@techcornerhq.com
How Reports Are Evaluated
A correction report is not automatically treated as proof that an article is incorrect.
Where appropriate, we may compare the report against:
Official documentation
Developer documentation
Product updates
Release notes
Other authoritative technical evidence
If credible sources disagree, the article may be updated to reflect the uncertainty rather than presenting one interpretation as certain.
Transparency
Our objective is not to preserve an article exactly as it was originally published.
Our objective is to make the current article as useful and accurate as reasonably possible.
Substantial updates may be reflected through an updated publication or modification date where supported by our publishing system and editorial workflow.
Reader Contributions
We appreciate readers who take the time to identify genuine errors.
Technical knowledge improves when corrections are treated as part of responsible publishing rather than something to hide.
